But safari have lots of security holes

Safari 4.0.4 for Mac and Windows to address 7 vulnerabilities disclosed . Several of the vulnerabilities are in support libraries.

Two of the vulnerabilities are listed as potentially leading to arbitrary code execution, but even the "lesser" bugs can be serious. One could facilitate cross-site request forgery. An error in the implementation of the HTML 5 Media Element could allow effective tracking "web bugs" even when the user has turned off remote image loading.

But ultimately they will release patches and start some new holes and introduce another version

Thanks Slayer for the update on the Safari security issue. I wonder if it's only a Win 7 issue or if it also relates to OS X. I should digg further.

Security holes become apparent with all network software, the only way to guarantee absolute security is to have your computer un-networked, never to insert a disk from the outside world, never to connect to the Internet. Is that feasible?

In the same way the only way to guarantee you'll never have a car accident is to close yourself into your house, never go out, build a strong encircling wall around your property so nobody can crash in. And voilà.
