Loli / Teenie
« on: October 12, 2009, 06:19:45 am »
I am just wondering where you guys and especially this place does draw the line of loli and teenie!?! I am familiar with both ways of selecting in which category one gurl does belong. At that one "Chan" that you all know anyway they are absolutelly strict with their selection. So i am asking because i don´t wanna step on anyones toes.

So are you guys goin for

1-10 Loli
10-19 - Teenie

or is your teenie folder startin from an age about 13 years...?

Teenies start at age 13 and anything under that
is preteens.  Use your best judgement is determining
their age.  Sometimes it's hard just by looking but
you can usually tell if they are preteens or not.  If
in doubt, then don't post them.  Because a preteen
to some may be a teen to others.  Better be safe than
sorry.

The arrogance of English speaking people. There is no such word as «teen» in other languages.

In English: Thirteen, Fourteen, Fifteen, Sixteen, Seventeen, Eighteen, NineteenIn French: Treize, Quatorze, Quinze, Seize, Dix-sept, Dix-huit, Dix-neufIn Spanish: Trece, Catorce, Quince, Dieciséis, Diecisiete, Dieciocho, DiecinueveIn Italian: Tredici, Quattordici, Quindici, Sedici, Diciassette, Diciotto, Diciannove

Although 13 to 19 is considered teen in the English language (only because of the teen part in the written number), since 16-19 is not the same innocence as 13-15. And in most countries, 18-19 is adult, not teenager, nothwistanding the usage by the English language. Usage that denoted, not so long ago, that the legal age was 21, everybody below that was a child according to law. Hence why Maurice Chevalier sang «Thanks God for little girls» while he was singing about an 18 or 19 yo woman.

un ar ddeg , deuddeg, un deg tri , un deg pedwar, un deg pump
and this is the formatt for most of the world. the '..teen' is the rarer version.
The above sample I use is welsh as it is my home language and it roughly would be translated as...
ten and one, ten with two, three and one ten, four and one ten, five and one ten.
the twenties would follow a similar fashion of 25 = five and two tens [dau deg pump ]
So the teenager is only easy to understand if you really understand english....
though to fair to every one, I don't think a teenager is easy to understand in any walk of life (unless you are one yourself and can comunicate in the same tuts and grunts lol)

Bore da and sut wyt ti heddiw?

Even as recently as in Victorian England you could read one and twenty or other such numbers from the ole' ways. If my memory serves me well both Charles Dickens and Arthur Conan Doyle had characters using those forms, not to mention Mark Twain in the USA.

And you're also right, but who could understand a teenager when they can't even understand their own self? ;)
Remember that time when everything looked bleak? The pimple were enormous? The sex drive and erections without end?

There is no coco in coconut
or u cannot get butter and scotch in butterscotch

So don't blame it on English
blame it on the people who create such words..
